Difficulties in climbing?
This tour starts downtown and goes up to the top of the hill (over 70m). There is similar version of this tour that starts at the university and ends at downtown. Consider your physical condition when choosing

The entrance inside the university buildings (such as the barroque library) is not included
During the summer Coimbra can be very hot, so be prepared with water, sun protection and comfortable shoes.
In the event of rain, don’t forget some protection as there are no sheltered areas along many parts of the route
